CUSTOM FABRICATION

cutting

The roll cutter is an automatic punching and cutting machine used to process materials quickly and consistently. It can produce a variety of straps with slots, holes, straight cuts, rounded edges, and other shapes, depending on the design requirements.

To begin the process, we typically start with a drawing or prototype. This serves as a guide for measurements and ensures that each cut is accurate and repeatable, especially when working with large quantities.

The roll cutter is used for cutting-only services and as part of our full assembly process. Many of the components we produce, such as tabs, leads and other strap-based parts are first shaped on this machine before moving on to the next stage. By using the roll cutter, we’re able to maintain uniformity and efficiency across high-volume production runs. Its precision and speed help reduce waste and keep output consistent from piece to piece.

STITCHING

Our automatic bar-tackers are designed to produce consistent, reliable stitch patterns with every cycle. Each stitch begins where the last one ended, which means your products maintain a clean, uniform look from start to finish.

We offer a wide range of patterns.

The patterns represent the shape only and are not drawn to scale. If you’re looking for something more specific or unique, we also create custom patterns. Just reach out, we’re always happy to help you design your own. Pull testing results for STITCHED ¾” SH Beta: 805 pounds.

RIVETING

Our riveters are designed to provide consistent and reliable fastening with each cycle. The process combines hole punching and cap securing in a single motion, which minimizes material loss and maintains strength. We offer BLACK, silver in NICKLE PLATED and NICKLE BRASS, and gold in SOLID BRASS so you can match the rest of your

hardware for a uniform look.

Pull testing on riveted ¾” SH Beta material shows a tensile strength of 450 pounds. While this is lower than the stitched ¾” SH Beta, riveting remains a practical and cost-effective option for many uses.

SKIVING

Skiving is an optional step used when a stitch pattern runs off the edge of a strap. In these cases, we recommend skiving so the stitching sits flush, and the transition feels smooth.

The strap gets passed through a blade that removes the bottom half at an angle, allowing the final stitches to taper into a single layer. This avoids any sharp edges or bulky buildup at the end. Skiving is only used when the stitch pattern runs off the edge; if the stitching is contained within both layers of the strap, skiving is usually skipped.

STAMPING

Stamping is a simple way to add your logo to a product, whether you want it to stand out or quietly blend into the design.

We offer two styles: heat embossing for a subtle, pressed-in look, or foil transfer for a bolder look.

We will have a custom stamp made with your provided artwork for a one-time setup fee. After that, you choose the foil color or heat emboss and the placement. It’s a flexible option that lets you decide how your branding shows up.

A small stamp fee is added to each order to cover labor.
